Die Deutsche Bahn kündigt einen "einzigartigen Technologiesprung für Schienennetz und Bahnbetrieb" im Netz der DB an. Sie redet dabei von einer "digitale[n] Revolution im Schienennetz" und kündigt damit das "Digitale Stellwerk (DSTW)" an.

Wir überlegen zunächst einmal, warum für den Betrieb von Bahnen Stellwerke benötigt werden. Anschließend folgt ein kurzer Überblick über die Funktionen eines Stellwerkes und über die Bauformen und deren Migration.
|

|
||||
Die aktuell bei Neubauten eingesetzte Bauform ist das Elektronische Stellwerk (ESTW). Wir schauen uns die Module eines ESTW und seine Schnittstellen an.
|
||||
|
||||
Anschließend gehen wir auf die neue Bauform 'Digitales Stellwerk (DSTW) ein und betrachten die Unterschiede zum ESTW.
|
||||
Dazu werfen wir einen Blick auf das im gleichen Zusammenhang häufig angesprochene ETCS (European Train Control System).
|
||||
|
||||
Abschließend fragen wir uns, was die DB sich vom DSTW verspricht.
